DELICIOUS REGIONAL RECIPES
Our new line of risottos perfectly reflects our philosophy, which is why all our risottos have a creamy texture, plenty of vegetables and natural-flavoured broth, and are easy to prepare.
In line with the principles of our philosophy, we guided our research and development team towards perfecting a risotto with a creamy texture, which would contain plenty of vegetables, have a natural-tasting stock and, lastly, would be easy to make. We wanted a delicious, wonderful-smelling risotto with a good consistency.
With these objectives in mind, we studied the way forward, and the ingredients that enabled us to achieve a high quality product were rice and the stock.
Specifically, we tested all the different rice varieties and came to the conclusion that the Carnaroli variety is the one that lends the product the best possible creamy quality.
We then turned our full attention to developing a wonderfully flavoursome stock bursting with vegetables, with an authentic flavour achieved through low-temperature granule production (< 70°C) by means of an entirely artisanal process.
The result of this painstaking process of study and qualitative analysis is the range of Solleone Bio risottos, which brings out the best of traditional Italian recipes for risottos.
Our regional risottos are made with simple and tasty ingredients. They are prepared with ready-to-serve recipes, cooked in 16 minutes and will serve a family of 4.
We have selected an organic Carnaroli rice with compact grains that when cooked preserve the tone and release a creamy starch that envelops the rest of the ingredients. There is no need to add any other ingredient besides water, because they are already prepared with an organic vegetable broth that has been granulated by hand and cooked at low temperature (70°C) to preserve all the taste and fragrance of the top-quality vegetables used as ingredients.
All ingredients have been selected based on regional recipes and have been transformed (for example dehydrated) with natural processes to yield an excellent flavour and provide good nourishment.
Mindful of local Italian traditions, Solleone Bio has created a line of risottos inspired by typical regional recipes, rediscovering such delicious pairings as the typical Venetian dish made with rice and peas, or the succulent Piedmontese risotto with porcini mushrooms, or even the more unusual but nonetheless delicious recipes like rice with almonds, oranges and lemons that remind us of the Sicilian sun.
